Introduction

Supporting Strategies V2 management, we now offer enhanced market cluster and hotel cluster management. Users have the flexibility to set up market clusters and hotel clusters in advance before creating new strategies.

Workflow

1. Create a Hotel Cluster

  • Go to Strategies > Hotel Cluster
  • Click Create Cluster
    • By Code: users can upload a hotel code file (either xlsx or csv) to create a hotel cluster. A max of 100,000 hotel codes at one file 
    • By Filter with Performance OFF: users can apply filters to select specific hotels for creating a hotel cluster. Please be aware that our default filters do not support Performance metrics such as Bookings and Clicks
    • By Filter with Performance ON: to filter hotels based on Performance metrics, toggle the Performance button located at the top right. Users will then be able to view performance metrics in the filter list. (Please avoid toggling the switch frequently within a short time frame.)
Each hotel can belong to a maximum of 10 clusters.
Each hotel cluster must include at least one hotel.

2. Edit a Hotel Cluster

  1. Add Hotels

    • Users can add hotels to an existing cluster
    • The process is similar to creating a cluster

  2. Exclude Hotels

    • Users can exclude hotels from an existing cluster

  3. Duplicate Hotels

    • Users can duplicate hotels from an existing cluster to a new cluster

  4. Download Hotels

    • Users can download the hotel list from an existing cluster
  5. Delete Cluster 
    • Users can delete a cluster if there are no associated strategies
  6. Remove Overlapping Hotels
    • Overlapped with > Download overlaps: users can download overlapping hotels between the selected clusters. (For example, as shown in the screenshot below, the downloaded document will contain overlapping hotels between DEMO and Av.Pos. Demo)
    • Overlapped with > Exclude overlaps from XXX : users can remove hotels that overlap with other clusters from an existing cluster. (For example, as shown in the screenshot below, users are able to remove overlapping hotels from DEMO without affecting Av.Pos. Demo)
    • Notes:
      • Each hotel can belong to a maximum of 10 clusters
      • Each hotel cluster must include at least one hotel
  7. View Cluster 
    • Users can access the hotel list within this cluster by clicking on the cluster name

3. Check Activity History

  • Users can check action activity history under Hotel Cluster > Activity History
    • Activity History includes actions such as creating clusters, editing clusters, and removing clusters.
